It’s a good store, but the lines back up more than other grocery stores. If you’re going at a busy hour, try Kroger instead.
I went up to use the self check out and tried to scan my item only to be told by a rep that I had to have their loyalty card to use their self check outs. Really? I had one item! Granted, she scanned a card and told me to get one from the front ( I didn't by the way) Never heard of any place requiring a card to do that. I'm new to this area and this was my first time at a Giant Eagle but I won't be back. Now I will give credit and this is where the second star comes in. The place was clean and had a great selection of items.
I would like to thank the bakery department for my sandwich trays they were a big hit. I got the croissant assorted meat sandwiches they were fresh fluffy lettuce and cherry tomatoes in between the sandwiches. I got a veggie tray and veggie Sushi for my Vegan guest. Great job.....

Excellent customer service!!! I had a cake made for a birthday and when I went to pick it up it slipped out of hands and ruined the wonderful cake they had made. They were able to remake the exact cake for me same day for the party free of charge. I am truly grateful for the workers in the bakery department, they definitely saved the day for me ud83dude01
