I love the staff, especially Cassie, but I just had a very frustrating experience. While returning an item, a woman entered the store not wearing a mask. She sounded sick and quickly informed us that she already had COVID so she didn’t need a mask. She sounded sick with a raspy voice, sniffing and a cough. She was not told to put on a mask and instead went on to suggest that it was hard for her to wear a mask because it went in her eyes. I was appalled. An older woman was sitting in the corner covered in protection but still at high risk and I am also in a high risk category. The reason for laws is to stop this terrible pandemic from spreading but if they are not enforced it won’t matter. I am angry that this woman was allowed to shop while blatantly disregarding the rules AND putting other lives in danger. I will be contacting Brighton’s corporate office to file a complaint as well.
