Ordering in from Tartufo is one of my rare pleasures during this pandemic. The food is exquisite and tastes just as good from takeout as it did when I used to love dining in. The pastas, seafood and meat dishes are top notch. The owner is lovely. The stracciatella soup is comfort food at its finest (not on the take out menu but they are willing to make it if you ask)! I appreciate that nothing has slipped even during these difficult times.

Please do all delivery drivers doing Uber eats and DoorDash a favor and not order for delivery here. They prioritize the customers there before orders to go. So we just end up standing outside waiting forever.

The restaurant is appeared to be much worse than one would expect for this price range. The only thing that was just ok is pasta with mushrooms (though don't expect even a taste of porcini or truffle there despite the menu description). Beef carpaccio looked and tasted like it was pre-made at least few hours ago, if not a day. Seafood in pasta had some weird smell, like it was refrozen multiple times. Service is another issue. Not to mention our request of window table what was neglected, the host even didn't give enough menus for the table (just 2 menus for 3 people). Our waiter didn't pay attention to offer a dessert menu after the meal, so we had to ask for that... Overall, I suggest to spend just about 20% more and have wonderful dinner in North End.

The food in the restaurant was fine and not too salty. I was disappointed that the pasta was not homemade given the high price. The service on the other hand wasn't as friendly as it should have been given what they are charging here. The atmosphere in the restaurant didn't feel too welcoming. The tables were small and pretty close to each other. The service staff kept on hitting the chairs that we were sitting in order to get to other tables. Overall, I think it's an average place to eat, but not worth the amount that you will be paying.
