I've gone here for several years and always had a positive experience. Today was very different. I walked through the door and was immediately reprimanded for not reading the sign on the door to call first due to Covid. It was a horrible greeting. I could not recall whether to bring up my paperwork or leave it in my lap until called, but after seeing others being taken back and time passing I finally inquired. I had been sitting there for over 10 minutes, but apparently I'm not officially called back til I hand in my paperwork. No one had even checked on me just sitting there. When I finally spoke up someone offered to take me back, but then disappeared to help someone check out. I was just standing there as another receptionist took a call from someone checking in. They were so lovely to everyone else, but somehow I felt invisible or unworthy. Once I was finally taken back and had changed I continued to wait for someone to take me into the exam room. A half hour after I had arrived on time I was still waiting and feeling incredibly stressed. A mammogram is unpleasant enough without feeling any kind of warmth or attention from the staff. I finally decided to leave and told the receptionist. I am someone who deals with multiple health issues and cannot recall the last time I was treated this way. It was extremely upsetting. I always thought highly of this center, but will not return.

I have been getting my mammograms done here for years and Dr Levin is not only caring and informative but I always leave reassured that I have received the best care possible . Would never go anywhere else!!!

After years of having my yearly mammogram at a local hospital and after a bad experience last year, I thought I needed a new center. What a wise decision! Easy location, office is so appealing, staff is delightful, patients engaging in conversation, reading or watching tv. The technician was caring and knew her stuff! After 4 views, I was told to wait for more views or results from Dr. Elsie Levin. Within 5 minutes I met with Dr. Levin for the results! This senior left knowing I made right choice in changing and relieved in the results!

What a calming and competent place to have your mammogram done! For a procedure that can be stressful, everyone at BBDC is friendly, reassuring and professional. The waiting rooms and testing rooms are feminine and calming. Then, for me, the best part is you immediately see Dr. Elsie Levin who personally reviews the mammogram information and shares the results during the appointment, so no stressful waiting for the results. Best place in the Boston area for mammograms!

I am pleased to have been referred to BBDC for my last few mammograms . In every way The experience has been so positive from arrival at the clean and relaxed waiting area, thru the very careful and almost pain free procedure to the carefully presented results before leaving. Then the results were posted for my other medical providers to see. worth driving out of my way for!
