the new employees at this store need to go...nnmy boyfriend and i had an appointment for 2:30 pm. we got to the store at 2:20 pm because like any appointment, getting there early is suggested. the guy at the door made us wait outside in like 20 degree weather for about twenty minutes since they were “backed up”. i understand completely given the pandemic and social distance guidelines ..however there were two customers shopping in the store when i looked in. if you’ve been to this chrome it is the nyc flagship and a pretty massive place. once we got in, we waiting inside for another fifteen minutes? but it gets even worse. the woman helping us was extremely judgy and did not even know the prices of the clothes. not to mention she was staring us up and down the entire time while we were browsing as if we going to steal the whole rack? i asked her how much a zip up sweater was (which i ended up purchasing), and she said verbatim “yeah that ones $530” although it was $495... it almost seemed as if she thought i couldn’t afford it? i’ve been a loyal customer at this store since 2019. this overall visit will not deter me from going back but i am disappointed in the general attitude of all the employees at the store.

Jenson who assisted us was the only good part of our visit. As someone who is from LA and is used to frequenting their flagship location; i found myself shocked with their lackluster offering of options. Literally 5 hoodies for sale and all were the last of their style/size. I went in planning on spending good money. And walked out confused as to why my better option had to be ebay. Don’t go here without calling ahead and making sure they have what you want. Otherwise you’ll waste a trip and hours of your time.
