556 Auto Sales

Do not buy cars from here. I bought a Jeep for a fair price and was so happy with it at first. I even brought my dad there to also buy a car from him. He told me He would give me money for bringing him business. He never did. A month after I bought my vehicle it needed all new brakes, which he should have fixed but he didn’t. I got over it wasn’t a huge deal. Then 3 months later my car stops working almost completely. I couldn’t even safely drive to work. Turns out it was the transmission. This car has cost me all of my money. 5 grand in repairs. I regret ever walking into that place. He seems like a nice man but he is not.

Absolutely terrible. After spending countless houra over two days I went to pick up the truck I was going to buy and put an ins. binder. Only to be told he sold it that morning. Wouldn't send my enemies there even as a last resortnNo matter how desperate I am I would walk. Dave Fortin is as sly as they come.

Bought two cars from 556 auto sales. And I would buy another. Never had any issues with my cars. They treat me like a person and actually care about what they are selling

Do NOT ever do business with this man! Dave Fortin, the owner, sold me a 2008 Kia Rondo priced at about $4,000 in December after the transmission was destroyed in my last car (also, unfortunately, purchased from him). He made me pay $3,500 cash up front, and the vehicle had a bad battery that died overnight for several weeks straight. I had to call him multiple times to honor his repair warranty, and finally he came to my place of work and made it clear that he felt it was my fault the battery kept dying.nnLess than a month after I recieved the title in the mail, a rod in the motor blew, and I needed to replace the motor. I called Mr. Fortin hoping that he would help me because he has been a customer of mine (I work in a cell-phone store), and he told me he could get a new motor for $2,000 and that he would pay for half of the cost. It was the cheapest option I had, so I gave him another $1,000 cash. Two weeks later, he forces me to sign a promissory note saying I owe him $1,400 more, before he would give me back my car.nnYesterday, I was at work, and he decided to take my car from me over non-payment of a non-existent mechanics lien. He literally stole my car from me using a spare key which he had no right to have, and had to be forced to return it by local police under threat of a grand theft charge.nnLight your money on fire before giving it to this man. Nothing but a con who takes advantage of those he thinks are dumber than him.

2nd time I've been to purchase a vehicle. Easy to work with .
