Had my knee reconstructed four days ago and had a great experience with the team. The PA Joel Dixon was really great along with my surgeon, Timothy Lin.nnI had been really nervous to take care of my injury after having a not great experience at DHMC. Joel was the first person I met at APD and was really phenomenal. He let me make my own choices and advised me with what he thought best. When what I wanted didn’t work out- he very quickly helped me make a plan- put me in contact with everyone I needed to talk to and quickly got me into the surgical schedule.nnThe day of surgery went very well from my side and even though due to COVID I could not have my husband with me- I was surrounded by people that were dedicated to my care. Their nursing team is really fantastic- and I really appreciated that Nurse Stacy followed up with me right after my surgery (every day for a couple days) to make sure I was ok. That is not something I have ever had.nnI don’t generally write reviews but I feel very fortunate to have had these talented people help me. Thanks so much to the whole team, I would whole heartedly recommend APD and their ortho team.nnOh, and the surgical scheduler, Darlene, really went above and beyond with me. I don’t think I really was able to thank her properly- but what she does is so important. Thank you so much.

Dr Tomek= awesome. Operating room crew(I don't remember ud83dude00)= Awesome. Recovery room care= awesome. RN's and LPN's for my 24 hour stay=Awesome. Great experience having my hip replacement here.nUpdate: 12 weeks post-op. My comments still hold up. ud83dudc4dud83dudc4d

I had trubler with one of the pa Joel how was very rude he rushed and did not even tough my knee I fell on my knee too times he seamed like he did not car. Dr houde and Becky are great to have.

Excellent care ALL around! Every place was excellent, from x-ray, nurse, Dr and the whole staff working at the clinic. The hospital the same! Would go there if needed again.

My surgeon, Dr. Tomek was super. Unfortunately 7 days after my knee replacement I developed cellulitis and an allergic reaction to something. I went to my local hospital since APD is 2 hours away. The er doctors called Dr . Tomes office up so I could be admitted to APD and the PA refused. I don't believe he checked with Dr. Tomek. I was admitted to my local hospital 3 days ago with very good care. While I think Dr. Tomek is wonderful, his practice is not.
