It was a little muddy but thats to be expected in mid March. The river was running nicely. Very uncrowded on a Thursday afternoon. The place is well maintained. You could see where they had been clearing fallen trees from the winter.
This place offers a nice little hike, certainly not too difficult to trek. It is very pretty in the fall, as the leaves turn. There are picnic tables and restrooms here if you wish to spend some time here, otherwise, it is a place to go for a nice, quick walk.nIt is pet friendly too, just be considerate of others and pick up the poop from the trail...nThe ride to here is nice as well. Easy to get to from near-by Interstate 91. It's not too far from Connecticut.

It was a nice walk, not too buggy, and not a lot of uphill. Whenever there is uphill, they have little steps for you to walk on. The waterfall was pretty, but it wasn't as great as I thought it would be.nOverall this place is great for beginner hikers, dog walks, or someone who just wants to go on a cute romantic walk.
Beautiful, well maintained trail. Hike is short, gorge is nice, water fresh and cool.
