Well managed, customers can be idiots sometimes.

I absolutely love this area. Today I rode my fat tire bike up and back on both sides of the river. The east trail was like a road and I went back and forth a few times. Great fun with the speed, hills and curves in road. The trails turn to strictly hiking after several miles of riding. I recommend every get off your a** and adventure outdoors.

Rattlesnake Mountain is one of our favourite family hikes! Just enough challenge and distance to keep the whole crew happy. The true reward is at the top... that view! Gorgeous! Plenty of room and angles for all to enjoy the breathtaking trail top. Get out there!

Some incredible trails throughout the White Mountains for hikers of all experience levels. In the summer, there are rivers and watering holes to cool off.nPlan on bringing some cash to donate at any of the trail heads or rest stops, this helps maintain the trails and park so we can continue to enjoy it in the future!

Don't let the photos fool you. The trail is pretty tough. You will run across a decent amount of day hikers that will not understand why you are struggling and will forget that people DO backpack on trails. Make sure you have good footwear and trekking poles, there are some very hairy spots. Awesome experience will be going again.
