Have not yet stayed here but drove by and finally stopped. It is a beautiful spot, the sites seem big and far away from each other. I can see how it could get easily trashed and abused but we didn't see any evidence of that. Saco River beach is a bonus for sure

Heroine needles everywhere, in the water on the ground. Tried to enjoy a nice camping weekend with my family and we observed another camper step on a syringe. Thank fully it was super crowded and 2 nurses and an emt happened to be camping there at the same spot.

Best camping! Only 8 sites. No crowdsnGotta carry all your grear in though. 1/3 mile in.nGreat hikes near by.

A few minutes walk in the forest. Beautiful stream, it's deep enough to jump in to.
