What a magical place to visit! Lots of nostalgic pieces, new decor and local pieces as well. I love stopping in there because Pat is so friendly! The Holidays are especially charming to visit and buy something new for my display.
My partner and I stayed here for a night when we were driving cross-country this past summer. We LOVED every second and never wanted to leave!! Pat was so welcoming & kind. She was really on top of the COVID-19 precautions and cleaning. She also made us an enormous breakfast and chatted with us all morning about some really fascinating stuff. The room we stayed in was BEAUTIFUL and we had the whole floor to ourselves which was great! The bathrooms were also spotless and stunning. The whole b&b is FILLED with antique stuff and Pat has a lot of great stories about those too. Truly an incredible experience and my partner & I will definitely be going back. 5 stars is not enough for the Liberty House.
Very Nice and Elegant Show Room-- Owner Extremely Friendly and Organized. I am Impressed with this 131 Year Old Mansion and Antique and Bed and Breakfast Inn. A Must see when in Seward
The hostess is wonderful and accommodating. It was joy to chat with her. The rooms are quaint and cozy. There is a little free library kiosk just outside of the establishment, and the antique store is quite interesting to browse through. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking to stop over near here.
Liberty House is a treasure trove of not only antiques and gifts but managed by the owner in a kind and personal style so typical of Nebraska’s values. Traveling cross country from California I enjoyed my stay at Liberty House and the surrounding neighborhoods so much that I am now a permanent resident of Seward, Nebraska.nPlease take the opportunity to rest and relax in comfort and peace at Liberty House in Seward, Nebraska.
