I have lived in Bloomington for the majority of my life and wouldn't recommend it. Used to be a great place, but now it is run as what works for the city and not what is best for the residents or businesses. City council no longer listens and just sticks to their preplanned objectives.

I deal with commercial permits through Bloomington City Hall every few months and their staff puts them in the top 5 BEST cities to work with! I appreciate their kindness and willingness to throughly and explain things. Life is just so much more pleasant when you are a pleasant person, the kind folks working for the City of Bloomington have that little tidbit all figured out!

Called street department 3 times to have mattress and box spring off 17th ave.Never came . Trash hauler came by,we put em in truck. City service getting worse! Thanks KingJamie

I am not sure where to put this, but it seems like the lights on Old Shakopee Road take forever to turn. Even when no one is coming the lights just a rat. It seems completely inefficient.
