Posing for a portrait can be a daunting experience, particularly if it will be hung in a public space. Sonia made every step easy, and was a pleasure to work with. I was extremely pleased with the result. Many folks have commented that her portrait is so lifelike, it almost looks like a photograph! Sonia did an amazing job. She took a small, vintage photo of my mother and turned it into a masterpiece. It was a photograph of my mother as a baby from 1962, at a Massachusetts beach. It looks exactly like the photo with an artistic touch. It is hanging in our main living area and completes the whole space. She worked with us on the budget, timing and it was completed so quickly! It was beyond what I could have hoped for. She even altered the colors slightly to fit the color scheme we were looking for. My mother cried when she saw the final painting and it was a beautiful moment. Sonia even sent pictures of the painting throughout the process. She was so easy to work with, and responded immediately to texts, calls or emails, answering any questions I had. She made the process seamless and fast. I would recommend her to anyone looking to commission a painting or portrait. Her work is superior and so detailed. We have a masterpiece in our house now that is of museum quality. She brought our lovely photograph to life and I hope to keep the painting in our family for generations to come.

Sonia is an incredible artist, we now have an oil painting that captures the absolute essence of what our daughter looked like at age 7. We cherish the way in which Sonia was able to translate her quirky smile and facial features to the canvas. Working with Sonia was a very positive experience, she photographed our daughter in a way that put her at ease, she is wonderful with children. When we asked for a few changes in the painting, she not only made them, but did so quickly and with incredible perfection. Sonia also helped us pick out a frame for the portrait as we wanted her eagle eye regarding how best/color, etc. to frame it. Can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was working with Sonia and the painting speaks for itself. We treasure it!

Sonia created a beautiful portrait of my grandparents as a Holiday gift for my mother. The finished product was beautiful and it moved my mom to tears. The portrait completely exceeded my expectations and Sonia was great to work with! The idea for a painting came to me in October and I was nervous that there would not be enough time for an artist to finish the portrait done by the holidays. Sonia came through well in advance and did a fantastic job. Not only that, she provided a wonderful frame that perfectly suited the art. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a painting or portrait!

Sonia is gifted and she shared her gift by doing a portrait of my wife Mary who had lost a cancer battle. I gave Sonia a photo that I always loved and the end product was more than I could have ever imagined. It was better than the original photo. Sonia listened to me and got what I was looking to capture in this portrait. Her personal touches touched my heart in so many different ways. She was great to work with and I found her very accommodating, professional, compassionate, talented and passionate about her work. I wouldn't use anyone else if I was considering having a masterpiece done because thats what she creates.
