Another ALLINA DOCTOR that was AMAZING! As well as the front desk, Marie, appointment scheduler Shauntea,nand the two women in the phlebotomy lab, I did not get their names but I the tech was getting trained in by a supervisor who were both SUPER!! Dr. SCHOEL was a fabulous listener and was not the type of doctor to reply with typical memorized responses like a robot. She conversed like a caring person and the dialouge was not generic but targeted to the individual patient, me. She knew as I know each patient is different. We are not all the same. She was knowledgeable, kind, patient, understanding and great at explaining medical diagnosis AS well as surgical procedures in laymens terms. AND... WOW! She is on top of communication - ACTUALLY CALLED!! Wow and quick updating test results on my online chart! Thank you.

Not allowing spouses to come with to appointments. Even if you are vaccinated against Covid they won’t, so what’s the point? You can walk across the street to the ER where they do allow visitors though.

Malinda Johnson, MD/OBGYN. Her expertise, empathy and professionalism is the real deal. It's no wonder her academic achievements, merits and awards decorate almost an entire wall. If you haven't been recommended a OBGYN, I highly suggest trying to get in with Dr. Johnson. She was there for my wife and I's first child, every single step of the way.nnThe Mother Baby Center across the street is the most accommodating place I could imagine for birth. It's like a 4 star Hotel suite.nnNote for soon-to-be dads: if your going to be accompanying your wife during the birth, bring a couple pillows and small mattress pad or something... Because that small couch will murder your back. Pull out the bottom 2 CLICKS, the single click will work, but it doesn't bring down the middle bar. Don't be fooled, pull harder, wait for the 2nd click. It makes things a lot better.
