Joan was friendly and kind but more importantly she was not afraid to indicate that she didn't have all the answers for a treatment for my facial neuralgia. She told me she would consult with someone who might know more about possible treatments. However, she was knowledgeable about certain medications that might help immediately and discussed various options and we chose the one that would work best for me. I definitely would recommend her to anyone.

I love my Dr. and the staff that is with him. From the minute I walk in till the minute I am wheeled out I feel that my reason for being there is taken care of. All are friendly and get what you need, and are very pleasing to talk to . My Questions are answered when asking. I would just wish one thing is that they could help the others in my family that have back problems like mine or worse. I thank Doc for how he has helped me in my journey.

Sometimes I think when I go in for a Dr.'s appointment or a procedure how awful it is that I know most of the nurses by name, the assistants and front desk people calling me by name because of my long journey with Michigan Pain Specialists. Then, I think to myself why not think of it as a blessing? A blessing of how much the staff care. They care how you are feeling. They are empathetic to your pain and even some try to make the procedures easier with their wit and smiles. Finally, how much the staff overlook because usually I'm not my best self.nnA big shout out to the staff at Forest Health Medical Center/Michigan Pain Specialists. Thank you for always making my procedures there bearable and always bringing a sense of calm with your wit, charm and kindness. Thank you!nnDr. Bojrab, you are a rock star! Dr. Bojrab is one of the few pain specialists I’ve seen who actually seems to want what’s best for me, and allows me to give input on my treatment that he actually uses instead of ignoring, like many doctors do. We came up with a better treatment plan together, and he helped find a workaround for my allergy to the anaesthetic that’s commonly used. I haven’t found many doctors that I’m very happy with throughout the 10 years of being in chronic pain, but I definitely feel like he wants to help however he can, and he’s willing to devote time to you personally to make that happen. He also has great “bedside manner” and is good about helping put you at ease so everything is less stressful when you have a procedure. I wish he had more time to see patients in the regular clinic just because it’d be better to be able to talk to him more often about treatment options and things like that, but generally I’ve been happy with all the other staff too.
