Brooks Lyon & Brooks

Been going to dr lyon for 30 years. Just found out today that he's gone and there's no info on him. Now I don't even know who my primary care dr is. I wasn't even notified! Dose anyone have any info onnLyon? Thanks dr3Lyon?doctor Lyon

I have mixed feelings about this place.nnI cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Brooks. He is, without a doubt, one of the best doctors I've ever encountered. He listens to his patients and he genuinely CARES — qualities that are exceedingly rare among healthcare practitioners these days.nnIt's also worth mentioning that Trish is an excellent PA. I'm a healthcare worker myself and as a result, I am extremely selective when it comes to my medical professionals; however, I am so confident in Trish's knowledge & skill set that I have recommended her to my own friends & family. Trish is a smart lady, and a far better healthcare provider than many of the MDs/DOs I have seen in the past!nnMy only complaint about this place is that most of the staff has changed for the worse within the past 2 years (with the exception of 2 receptionists who are always polite & helpful.) Once upon a time, this clinic was staffed exclusively by friendly, compassionate LPNs & medical assistants, but now there is an MA who loudly talks trash about patients (and about Dr. Brooks!) regardless of the fact that I have shown this staff member nothing but kindness. For example, during a recent appointment, she loudly complained (actually, she YELLED) about Dr. Brooks taking a few minutes to give me a spinal alignment while the office was running behind schedule (although they are ALWAYS running behind schedule, and I have chronic back pain from a work-related spinal injury that requires monthly alignments to keep my pain in check...) Then, she proceeded to rant & rave about me lying down on the adjustment table with no table paper... Well, frankly -- refreshing the table paper is HER job, not mine. It is not my responsibility to do her work for her. I understand that she has to deal with countless difficult patients on a near daily basis, so I’ve always made it a point to engage in pleasant conversation with her in an attempt to lighten the mood. Regardless, she continues to make insulting remarks about me as soon as she thinks I'm out of earshot. In addition to that, she frequently vents to patients about how much she hates her job & doesn't want to be there. I can guarantee that there are plenty of recent grads full of enthusiasm who would happily take her place!nnDespite her negative attitude, however, this is still an encouraging, nurturing environment where patients have their needs acknowledged & met without being made to feel as though their presence is a burden.nnThank you for everything you do, Dr. Brooks! You truly are compassion personified.

I’ve been calling since Monday to have a doctor call me back, I haven’t received a call back! I have Covid and I’m considered high risk because of my health problems! And they never answer the phone

Been going here for over 10yrs they have definitely fell off. The staff rude, the wait be long, & the P.A's act like they don't really care about the patients or how to do their jobs properly.

I have been going here many years. Yes the wait has been long and it has taken all day to see my doc and get my meds. He also found my cancer, helped my back, and genuinely care.nNow I see Sarah and I absolutely LOVE her. She is amazing too! See listens and does not just give me meds to be on my way. She listens when I say something is wrong and she not only listens, examines, and treats, she believes!nThe nurse staff are also amazing! If you treat them with respect you will get it back! They are very nice to me and always have been!nThank You,nAmanda
