Mills Pharmacy + Apothecary

In the last year I’ve had to use a compound pharmacy. THIS WHOLE TEAM IS THE BEST!!! Lucky to have found them. Worth the drive!!!!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a pharmacy. After getting a procedure done with a Colo-Rectal surgeon he called into Mills Pharmacy to have a specific compound cream made for me. I was a little taken aback by the $55 price but figured since it was made specifically for me and the doc recommended it I would go with it. They also offered free local delivery. They called me on a Wednesday, I paid for the cream and they said they would make it on Thursday and delivery it by Friday (August 28th) by 7pm. I asked if they could deliver it to my office since getting deliveries at my apartment is a pain in the butt but they said no, they couldn't guarantee a specific delivery window (I work from 9am-4pm on Fridays). I requested they try calling my work phone when attempting the delivery (I work less than 5 minutes from my office) and if no answer to please call my cell phone. I received no calls. 7PM came and went. I called the pharmacy on Sunday and they couldn't tell me much since the compounding people don't work on the weekends. They left a note for them to call me, which of course I didn't receive a phone call this morning so I called them. They weren't able to tell me anything really. They laim the delivery company called both numbers on Friday (that's a lie) and even tried to call both numbers this morning to try and deliver again (this is also a lie). They told me there wasn't anything they could do except offer me a refund. I asked if they could discount the cream and guarantee its delivery and they said no. I explained they are just going to throw the cream away anyway but they refused to discount it. They didn't seem interested on making the delivery company culpable and still get my cream to me but I guess they would rather throw the cream away than give it to me at a reduced price, they would rather get nothing for it? Take that cost and apply it to the delivery company since they messed up. Mills didn't seem interested.nnThere is no way in hell I would use this place, they showed a complete inability to address the situation and come up with a better solution that would work out better for their customer (me). I will not be their customer again. I'm sure there are plenty of different businesses to patron.

I've been using this pharmacy for a long time but no more. They often charge me the wrong amount for a blood thinner Rx that I have been on for several years. I was charged $40 in January and it was supposed to be $10. I didn't question it because I thought perhaps the price increased or my copay changed with the new year. I checked into it and it was still supposed to be $10. When I went back in February for a refill they tried to charge me $459. I told them it should be $10 and they came back with a printout showing that it was $459, and that it was going toward my deductible. I asked them to check it again because there is a discount program from the manufacturer that is available to anyone that is in the program. She checked their records again and charged me the $10. They would not refund me the $30 I was overcharged in January even though they acknowledged it should have been $10. This has happened to me several times here. They can't be trusted to charge the correct price and when they make a mistake won't offer a refund.

Always have exactly what I need

Great spot for perfumes you wont find everywhere. Wonderful French and indie fragrances. I'll be back for something for myself.
