I love Dr. Hackl's office staff and she and Amy. I had a procedure done there and Dr Hackl herself called me on Sunday to let me know the results because she knew I would be worried about it. I see Amy and I really respect her and her care giving. She listens to me and answers all of my questions. Always willing to take her time. Highly recommend them!

Dr. Hackl and her staff is wonderful. When she is with you, she never rushes and she listens carefully. Her attention saved my life! At the same time, she won't just acquiesce to something that is not necessary. I would recommend her to anyone.

I have worked with Dr Hackl for the past 3 years as a family practice resident out of Detroit. I can say without a doubt, she is one of the most caring and empathetic physicians I have EVER known and she truly goes above and beyond for her patients. She schedules at least 45 minutes to an hour with EACH PATIENT, which is simply unheard of in medicine. Most appointments are 10-15 minutes at other places. She will call patients on the weekends with test results, which many physicians would just leave until Monday morning. However, because she spends so much time with patients, one may have to wait 1-4 weeks for an appointment with Dr Hackl. Thankfully, she has excellent staff who follow her philosophy of attention to detail and empathy and Dr Hackl works with them to create a treatment plan. Same or next day appointments are always available but not always with Dr Hackl herself.nShe does not easily write for narcotics or controlled substances but tries to find less-addicting alternatives when needed. If you have a complex medical issue, you NEED to see Dr Hackl. She is interested in functional medicine as well and in using acupuncture and supplements to help achieve good health. If you are not interested in becoming healthy, Dr. Hackl is NOT the physician for you.

First time at the office today. Such a great experience. Staff was very nice. Dr Amy is absolutely amazing! She listened to me and for the first time in a long time I feel confident that I'm on the right path. I would recommend this office, especially Dr. Amy to everyone!

At first glance the office seemed on the up and up, until I took my daughter there for a school physical. After the physical a few weeks later I received a bill in the mail for $50.00. I went down to the office and asked what it was for and they ( with a straight face ) said it was for an eye exam. I than asked what kind of test did they give my daughter......the woman that worked at the window replied, oh yeah they did the same to me and my granddaughter, its for reading the eye chart.nafter about five minutes of this woman refusing to do anything about it because she had to pay it so why shouldn't I, the other woman that works there intervened and told her to leave a note for the Doctor. A few more weeks went buy and another bill came this time for $20.00. I went back down to the office and without even asking I just paid it like an idiot!nFast forward a year from then, I took my daughter back for an illness.nthe P.A. seen her and prescribed her some medication. I went down to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription and the pharmacy said that they had to contact the doctors office to get another kind of prescription, I asked how long would that take, they replied a day or two. Two weeks later the pharmacy called and said I could come get the meds. By that time we didn't need them. but if you miss an appointment you will receive a letter with a bill explaining to you (the customer) how valuable their time is and all of the prep work they have to do for the appointment so for all of those reasons we are charging you $50.00. In summary, I have never paid anyone $50.00 to cover my eye and read letters on the wall, or will I. I have never paid for services that I have not received and just remember, how many times have you made a doctors appointment and waited 15 minutes to 45 minutes past the appointment that was scheduled. maybe everyone should start billing the office managers for their time. Other than that everything was great!
