Canty Brothers Construction

Canty Brothers was in charge of the construction of my dance school. They worked very efficiently, meeting all deadlines, and I could not have asked for a better end product. They converted the Watertown Registry of Motor Vehicles into a dance school of four large dance rooms, a large waiting and retail area, four bathrooms, a staff break room, an office, and two large storage closets. I highly recommend them for their impeccable work, strong work ethic, and professionalism.

Although we currently have our Kitchen Remodel project on hold until next year, the team at Canty Brothers has earned our business! From the initial phone call to the several emails of helpful information, the staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and made my husband and I excited for our renovation next year. After several frustrating calls to remodeling companies in the area, Bernard and I are thankful we made that next phone call to the Canty Team.

The Canty team was great from initial discovery, design and scoping, to sale/close, the actual work, and post project. The process was transparent and without surprises. Curveballs thrown by our old house or suppliers were dealt with responsively and cost consciously. The project ended up beautifully and beyond our expectations. We have worked with Canty Brothers on several projects and it has been a pleasure each time.

They did what they said they would do and so much more!nn1929, about 1,500 sq ft, house; galley kitchen remodel; design to build projectnnChecked out about 15 contractors, whittled it down to meet with 3, and chose CANTY BROS for our complete design to build kitchen project. They had fantastic communication, were professional with expertise, and worked hard with us to keep within our budget while giving us many options during the process.nnOur Canty team was headed by Jean, Kevin, and Tracey. They built a nice rapport with us patiently & thoroughly answering our questions and addressing our concerns. We always felt comfortable with them at our house. They made sure the work areas were nice and clean at the end of each day. They were great with making sure our dog was safely in her area even when we would forget to close our dog off as we rushed off to work.nnThe end product was truly better than we could have ever thought of. Our space is now a well-spaced, functional galley kitchen that looks picture perfect but also goes seamlessly with the rest of our house.nnTheir attention to detail and enthusiasm for our project lasted from start to finish and beyond. At the final walk through they were looking for any smudges or fingerprints that may have been on the new white cabinets. They let us know to contact them with any concerns as we became accustomed to our new kitchen, and since then they have contacted us to follow up on their work.nnGo with Canty Bros and you will be pleased with your decision from beginning to end. We couldn’t be happier with our Canty Brothers home! We knew immediately when we saw the house that it was the perfect home for us. It’s a 5 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom colonial built on approximately one-third of an acre lot and everyone who sees it remarks that it is absolutely beautiful!nnIt would be easy to say that the home was an extraordinary value, but that description doesn’t quite do it justice and could give the false impression that the house isn’t top notch. The fact of the matter is that the house could have been priced 15% higher and it would still feel like a steal! It is that amazing!nnThe house is absolutely luxurious - it has huge bedrooms, an oversized kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, a spacious 2-car garage, a large backyard deck, and a farmer’s porch. There are also a ton of subtle touches throughout the home that make it extremely comfortable, like a tankless water heater, slide-out shelves in the pantry and Lazy Susan, a huge master bath with a deep bathtub and a gorgeous glass-enclosed shower, and whisper-silent garage doors. We are extremely proud to own this home!nnOur satisfaction with Canty Brothers goes beyond the house itself – the support that they have provided after the sale simply blew us away! They were super responsive whenever we had to reach out to them and they were very willing to address issues that we experienced with the house shortly after moving in (just quirky things that typically arise with new builds). While we hope to live in this home for a long time, we would absolutely look to Canty Brothers for a future home.
