Sad to hear that the city police department is going around warning businesses to not open! I thought their oath taken is to uphold the constitution not orders which are not law!

Every time I have had anything to do with the HPD it has been a very good experience. I am a 60 yo white guy so I fit a pretty boring demographic but I have never had any occasion to think the Hastings Police Department is doing anything but a great job. They help make Hastings a great place to live.

Be careful if you live/work for the police dept here & aren't 100% white! What's that say for the rest of the city I wonder?!!
