Barry County Friend-The Court

I'd give this place 0 stars if possible. When there is financial gain in keeping a child from their parent, why arent more people upset about this? This place is an absolute joke. I hope the system changes soon because this is sickening.

They always have done what was needed to do. People don't understand that they have alot of cases to deal with on a daily. They are short staffed and have been for a very long time so it does put a delay in things sometimes, but they have always got done things for me. I have had a very great experience with them getting my child support modification done . They only took 2 1/2 weeks to get the ball rolling. I have to say I'm very happy with that. Thank you all at Barry County foc for all your time and effort you put into getting this rolling so fast for me.

I've got two kids, two seperate counties.nIonia County, where I receive support, and Barry County where I pay support. My case worker in Barry County is one of the sweetest, most helpful and caring person I've dealt with in any type of business. I think some of these people leaving one star Reviews and complaining need to try Ionia County for a while! Our maybe take a deeper look at yourselves. Thanks to Barry County foc for making something I don't really enjoy doing a pleasurable experience for the last 18 years

I would like to know why after numerous bad reviews of this organization there been no attempt to correct the poor treatment of the people it's suppose to serve.As a county funded organization I believe all staff are county servants payed by the tax payers and court fees. As payed servants of Barry county it is staffs duty to treat all party's with same respect and not with poor attitudes and no regard for there employers the people of Barry county. I'm seeing this kind of problem in many county agencys everywhere.God don't like his people being treated like garbage and hope to hear the matter is corrected.

I've been in the foc system since 1998 with my first son. The entire time I've dealt with a majority of the people who work there, they're rude, short tempered and are VERY ok with you not getting your money. If you dare to call and ask about it, you're treated like you're in line at the airport ready for full cavity check, only psychologically.nnJennifer Daly told me to never leave a 2 minute message on her machine again and then failed, completely, to be of assistance whatsoever. She called me chewed me out, told me she'd send a packet which I've yet to receive and hung up. And my exaggerated 2 minute message was, my name, number, docket number and the reason for my call. All things they ask of you. Power Trip.nnI have 4 years left and it's not like I am getting rich off from child support. I do look forward to never having to contact Barry County friend of the court. Bunch of rude state funded workers.nnIf it weren't for people like me, these people wouldn't have a job. And they're rude. More rude than I've had the pleasure of dealing with in a long while, for a state run operation.nnAnd this negative review couldn't possibly make it any worse than what it's already been since 1998.nnI typically don't bother to leave negative reviews, but now I'm about to change that.nnJennifer Daly, particularly, has some sort of inferiority complex and from what I read here and heard from a couple lady friends, she's the worst one to deal with. They've flat out told me, good luck getting anything done with her. So far, that's absolutely been the case.nnNo need to be rude. Also, it would seem that the nature of my call would have been of concern, but it was far more important for her to call me back to inform me that I'm not to leave such a lengthy detailed message ever again. She completely disregarded my concern over my child.nnAnd they don't bother call back.
