Place is nice but the food is horrible !!

Stopped in for some appetizers. All excellent. The bread was even super delicious. The service was great too. Can't wait to go back.

My mother and I were craving stuffed shells and were looking for restaurants near us. Robertos restaurant looked like a great option so we were super excited. We get there and it looks very nice. At first it took about five minutes to even get a hostess at the front to notice we were standing there and a few people the got there after us already has gotten a table. We finally get a table with menus and water. About 20 minutes later with no further service not even know who our waiter is they ask us to move because they need a bigger table for a party that is coming later on. Alright. So we ended up moving to a table in the garden where the table is and a lopsided angle in the grass and we had to adjust it. Another 15 minutes go by and we still don’t know who out waiter is, so my mother takes it upon herself and asks and lady working and she said she will check and of course it takes other five minutes. A waitress finally comes to our table and introduces herself and ask if we’re are ready to order. We order our meal and drinks all at the same time and asked if we could have some bread. It takes another 10 minutes and by this time we are very annoyed with the disorganized service. We get our food and it’s delicious we didn’t think it would be bad but the customer service was horrendous. We will never dine in here again and I don’t recommend it either unless you have an extraordinary amount of patience when waiting for service.

The food was good, but the server was absolutely terrible. She was very abrupt, snobby and did not listen. My mother ordered a drink, while my sister and I just wanted water. An hour later our server still hadn’t brought the drink over. We mentioned it to our server again, and told her that at that point to forget about it, that my mom was fine without the drink. Twenty minutes later, she brings over the drink. The food took over an hour and a half to arrive. We watched multiple tables around us sit down, eat their entrees, and leave in the amount of time it took for our server to bring us our meals. We didn’t order anything complex either. I honestly believe she either forgot about us, or just didn’t care. When it came time for the check, it took us over half an hour to flag our server down and ask for the check. She then came back ten minutes later and asked us if we wanted dessert. No, we JUST asked for the check! I understand that sometimes people may be new to the job, or may just be having a bad day, but she did not apologize for any of the many mistakes she made. And of course, while she was incredibly slow to come to our table or offer service throughout the entire meal, she ran right over immediately to check her tip when we left. Very disappointing.
