My wife and I walked in expecting courteous service. The female worker was arrogant from the minute we walked in. My wife asked a for a passport application and it was aggressively thrown over the counter with a roll of the workers eyes. She basically told us she didn't have time for passport applications (they are walk ins) we were there within plenty of time to process the application we still had three hours. She rolled her eyes constantly at each customer that came in. No thank you to anyone or have a nice day. Simply ignorant. I will NEVER use Machias post office again. Unfortunately the elderly lady behind us has the same experience as she walked out and asked my wife if there was another post office near by because the woman behind the desk was having a bad day. Machias post office didn't even deserve the one star I gave them. The one star I gave was only because it was clean inside. Service is HORRIBLE

Easy access to mail. Nice location off main road with onsite parking.
