My husband and I purchased a Dory Boat Basket here during our visit to Camden last week. Garry could not have been nicer. He is clearly passionate about the products he sells. He was knowledgeable and friendly and shared many stories about the crafters of the products in his shop. It was lovely to speak with him and to support a business that supports the makers of fine products made in the USA. We also appreciated the fact that Garry takes the health and safety of his staff and customers very seriously. Thanks Garry!

Wonderful store, most reviews do not reflect the quality and care that goes into the products sold here — which is superb. I bought my favorite knife here, and dear Lord was it sold at a reasonable price and was made by a small company. Yes, this place enforces mask policies, as they should to help keep Mainers safe. I am happy to say you can safely shop here for all of your quality houseware and kitchenware needs.

If there was a rating for how awful this place is, they’d get the highest rating on the market from me.nnMy friends an I came to this store to make some potential purchases, we were respectful but yet we were met with two aggressive retailers at the store. The man an the women working at the store began to harass us and treated us very rudely. We are all human after all, to be treat at such degree of disrespect was just disgusting.nnIf you would like to go an shop at a place that respects and treats their customers humanely, LOOK ELSEWHERE, THIS PLACE DOES NOT REPRESENT THAT WHATSOEVER!!

We started going to Conklin several years ago when we were vacationing in Maine with family. We loved the items we saw and purchased several gifts to take home. Every year we came to Maine, Conklin’s was always a place we had to stop. Not only is the merchandise wonderful, the owners are great. They go out of their way to accommodate you and just have pleasant conversation. My husband and I now live in Maine full time and we still live to go there to get that “special” gift. Now they’ve moved to Camden is further for us to go but it won’t stop us. If you have never visited their store, you need to. You will not be disappointed.
