This place is so very special. If you like South African or French wines, this place is a unique find and gem! After visiting South Africa a few years ago I have been on the hunt for great SA wines and this place is the best in all of New England. Plus their lobster rolls, cheeses and seafood are top notch. I’ll be back!

Wow!! What an absolutely amazing experience. I love supporting local business, and that is exactly what you get at the Lighthouse. Not only is the Lighthouse a local, family-run shop, it is obvious that they strive to support other family-run business in Central Main.nThe customer service was delightful. The employees at Lighthouse make you feel like you are a part of the family. They are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to the vast wine selection. Picking out the perfect bottle of wine and can sometimes be a frightening task, but not with the guidance provided at Lighthouse. On top of this, the friendliness and positive attitude of every employee makes shopping at Lighthouse a lovely experience.nWith that being said, you can't forget about the delicious and fresh seafood! My favorite is the famous lobster roll, and let me tell you, it's famous for a reason. A perfectly toasted roll with plentiful amount of FRESH lobster piled high. The freshness of the lobster really shows! Besides the delicious lobster roll, the Lighthouse has a great selection of fresh fish and shellfish which I highly recommend.nAn overall great shop! I hope to be back soon.

Great place for craft beer. You buy it by the can. It costs a bit more but you can make up mixed 4 packs, which is a great option.

I came in today for the first time and got two bottles of wine and some hard cider, everything was great! Helpful staff and a huge selection of domestic and imported wines! I will certainly be back, I look forward to trying their food as well.

Randomly decided to stop here while we were passing through the town, and def did not regret it! The family that owns the place were super nice and welcoming, and the lobster rolls were so fresh and yummy - a big portion for a good price. They also have a great selection of wines and beers, and some other yummy stuff to go. I recommend this place to anyone in the area!
