Always a pleasure! The first time I visited here was for my birthday October 2020. The hostess was amazing friendly and courteous the food was absolutely delicious and so was the drinks. The owner came over and welcomed us and was a pleasure. The second time once again the food was delicious as were the drinks and the owner remembered us and welcomed us as if we were old friends. Now this third time we went Kelsey remembered me by name we were seated we ate delicious Sriracha wings and the bartender Curran created a drink especially for me off the top of his head and it was delicious! so when you go in for your next cocktail ask for a summer spritzer I definitely will be back

Went for brunch this morning and glad we went early! The place was packed by 10:45. Excellent Bloody Mary! This place definitely isn't your run of the mill breakfast joint, with a small menu, but all choices are good with something for everyone.

Went here for the first time with my aunt and mother in law. The place is very hip. Not too crowded on a Sunday. They were open until 2. We weren't rushed for people who showed at 1 pm. Our waitress was great. The food was delicious. My mother in law had the beef brisket which she could not say enough good things about. My aunt and I had the chicken and waffles with collard greens. Omg were they so good! The chicken was crispy, juicy and tender. The collard greens had a kick to them from the cherry peppers and the waffle was light and fluffy. The bourbon maple syrup was drizzled over the waffles and man could you taste the Bourbon. Definitely would recommend trying this dish. I gave it four stars because the menu was pretty limited. Nothing else appealed to me, that's why I went with the Chicken and Waffles. Not sure if the menu is different during the week, but I'm over an hour away and probably won't be back because it's too far, but I would certainly recommend it if you live in the vicinity and don't mind paying $18 for chicken and waffles.

Stopped for lunch and loved it! Fantastic cocktail list and delicious food. We had the Brussels sprouts app followed by the roast beef sandwich and the ramen bowl, wow! Thanks Lindsay for the great service!

We recently visited Augusta Maine and had the pleasure of having dinner at State Lunch. They have a variety of rich , savory comfort food and serve the best cocktails in a vibrant, fun atmosphere. Try the “toasted almond” ladies...it’s outstanding! Our dining experience and the attention to detail by the owner and staff was exceptional! We ordered short ribs, gnocchi and fried chicken and waffles. Simply delicious!!n-Carmela H
