What a fun wonderful little restaurant this is. Clean with friendly staff and yummy food. I love the decor. Disco ball at the bar made me smile.

We went there Sunday evening and not busy at all. Seated right away. There was about 4 other tables with people there and our table. Overall the experience was less than spectacular, but not terrible. The waiter seemed hurried and busy with other tables. Took a while before he took our order and it took too long to get our food. We had an appetizer which was really good. Crab dip I think. Waited about 40 minutes to get our main course after we got our appetizer. The main course tasted okay. I got the stuffed haddock. It was a little over cooked. The vegetables were over cooked as well and just didn't taste great with the haddock. Mash potatoes was good. But the place is nice looking overall. A bit more than your typical restaurant. Food was ok, not sure if I would want to come here again though.

We were in the Augusta area so we thought we would try this little restaurant. The wait time was a little long for our drinks and entrees with the 3 or so people that was actually dining in the restaurant at the time. There was no ice in the water when we got it. . My wife got the filet mignon for $30. For $26 a piece, my mother and I got the haddock stuffed with lobster and shrimp and scallops Our entree was mainly stuffing, I had all I could do to find any kind of seafood except for the fish. We all had the grilled vegetables, they were NOT good at all. Their salads are $7 extra for a bunch of croutons and some lettuce. When you spend $90 (not including $30 dollars in drinks )between 3 people for a dinner you expect a side salad. It would be one thing if the food was worthy of the cost. For the amount of money that we spent at this restaurant we could have eaten at 3 restaurants. Would not recommend based on this visit!

Top of the line! My absolute favorite restaurant for fine dining and pleasant atmosphere. I love how artistically it is decorated too!

When one goes to a restaurant, it's good to keep an open mind and have no expectations other than that the food should be good and that you should enjoy yourself. My husband and I went to try this place just last evening, and we had an amazing experience! We let the waitress know that we weren't in a hurry, our bacon wrapped scallops were exquisite, our drinks were perfect, and our food (as you can see in the picture) was delectable! The waitress was a comedienne who was knowledgeable and attentive. My husband dubbed this place his #1 restaurant in Maine, pushing Slates (of Hallowell) to #2, and Opa (Greek restaurant in Waterville) to #3. Give this place a chance, it's a hidden gem in Augusta, Maine.
