I visited Saint Joseph's College of Maine as the parent of a student who considered attending. It was brought to my attention by another parent that Saint Joseph's had a coronavirus outbreak recently. When I inquired, they responded that they had everything under control. When listening to the financial aid department director making her spiel, I was taken aback by seeing her use her face mask as a chin guard. She only lifted it up to cover her mouth when she noticed me glaring at her. She proceeded on removing her face mask from covering her mouth just about everytime she started speaking. Not once did it cover her nose. She also kept on touching her face (nose included) as well as touching obects in her proximity (microphone included).nI decided to post this when irony had it that fox news decided to cover Saint Joseph's deciding to fine students who did not respect coronavirus regulations $150 per occurence (because more positive coronavirus cases were found on campus).nMaybe Saint Joseph's should start practicing what they preach?

Attending St. Joseph's College was the best decision I ever made. I'm so thankful for the opportunities SJC provided to develop close relationships with professors, explore areas of interest outside of the classroom, and take an active role in campus life. If you're looking for a community where you feel genuinely valued, I couldn't recommend Saint Joseph's College more highly.
