I have had to revise my initial review of 4 stars from a year ago to 2 stars now. Something has changed here. Last year I needed a new account for my business, Cross is local (a plus!) and easy to get to so I called. They were quick to get me a quote and get back to me. I got the policies for a great price and had a really good experience - this was July, 2017. Fast forward a few months when we had an issue with one of the polices, and we found that the agent we worked with had not done what he said he would - pay the policy in full, in fact he didn't pay it all. It took from October until April to finally get this resolved. I repeatedly called them and instead of getting a live person like I did before I was a client, I got a recording and anonymous voicemail box. Left multiple messages and no responses. Don't even think the person I worked with originally works there anymore, which is fine. But now I have questions on my renewal - maybe it would be nice to shop around a bit and make sure I still have the right coverage. But oh, wait, I am an existing client so I get the voicemail pit of no return calls. Horrible customer service there so maybe I just need to go to another agency... Don't know why, but what a horrible difference a year (and becoming a client???) makes!
