Deputy Harold Toong is a policing for profit piece of s***. He is your typical bully cop. If you don't bow down to him, he will will chuckle as he helps the greedy and corrupt municipality of Joliet and the state government of Illinois extort hundreds of dollars from your homeless butt. Here's the kicker... the weight sign I missed was placed too far away from the intersection to be seen clearly enough before turning... so by the time it was within decent view... I was already screwed... and Deputy Toong had to quickly wrap up issuing a ticket to someone else before speeding like a bat out of hall to catch up to me so he could extort me over a harmless and honest mistake that harmed no one, endangered no one, and did not damage any property. He had no intention of just letting me go with a warning and continue half a mile down the road to my destination and pick-up... and I was wise to his obvious policing-for-profit and performance review motives and hypocrisy concerning public safety... so he decided to teach this then-homeless driver a lesson with an excessive and unreasonable fine. That... and the spot was an obvious trap the authorities were using to extort people.
