I had my vehicle damaged at a tire store in Bloomington recently and the responding officer was friendly, helpful and professional. My girls were with me and thought he was wonderful too!nnOn another occasion a few years ago, my home was broken into while my family was out. The responding officers were again professional and helpful as were the detectives we worked with.

A call to the BPD with a question about off leash dogs that attempted to attack one of our dogs my husband was walking. One of the off leash dogs jumped at my husband after he grabbed the pup & held her close to his body. He hit the head of the attacking dog with a hard portion of the expandable leash. A neighbor came to help him shoo the 2 attacking dogs away. We are in our 70's & it was a frieghtening situation.nI asked if this happens in the future what are we do do? I was instructed to call BPD immediately.nThe officer on the phone was very helpful & concerned with concise instructions.nThank You Bloomington Police Dept.

I was pulled over for lighted being out and the officer told me where to get new ones, showed on my car where they were out. So grateful to have been helped and not punished for not knowing about something.

Move of out town if you experience injustice. Then you decide later to get justice with the wrongful and misconduct behavior. The whole town also has a heavy history with KKK. I have injustice in my child case as a minority. The following are cases that happened since 1991 Federal racial stop case, injustice minority divorce cases with white ex, 2017 arrested 10 years old color child, 2013 Honor color student knocked by police, 2013 Kevin L simpson case got chief judge, chief public defender, chief police and police sheriff gone ( a family case gone wrong), 2007 a dad got removed a supervised visitation and killed his two children ( The judge was Alan Beaman wrongful conviction's prosecutor which is handled by Northwestern for a federal appeal)

Normal police are outstanding . Would rate them a 10 on a scale of 1 - 5. Officier Jasmine Johnson went Above and beyond the call of duty. I would definitely have her promoted
