Elevate Care Riverwoods

If you have a love one I would advise not to bring them to this facility! My mother was here short term for therapy and contacted covid from someone in the facility. My mother had many medical conditions and them knowing how she can easily contact the virus but clearly the nurses or workers did not care! And now she is in the hospital fighting for her life!

My experience here in Riverwoods was interesting. It took some work to make sure everything ran well. There were a good amount of people that helped make my experience a good one. Katherine from wound care did a great job and gave me more than 100%. Michael is a an administrator this facility needs and is the right man to keep this building moving the right direction. Christene, Orville, and Chara from therapy also did great. Norma Monterrosa CNA took good care of me and was so caring. Rodrigo Guest Relations is the man to go to for any concerns and he will address them. Michael and Rodrigo are two people that make me believe this building will be the best. I am writing a letter and sending it to Michael to compliment the staff.

After reading review about Blanca Basilio I wanted to post a review of my own. Myself and other residents also agree with everything that the writer said about Blanca Basilio. She is one of a kind and very friendly. She is always smiling and has a wonderful attitude. She has a heart of gold and Riverwoods should be proud to have her. She should definitely get the recognition she deserves.

My mom was there after her hospitalization for rehab. My mom is now completely bedridden. When I went to visit her and viewed her outside of window due to covid. I witnessed the neglect. Her nasal cannula was in her eyes. I had to call the front desk to send someone to help her. It took what seemed like forever to have someone visit her room. We did not get her belongings in a timely manner. So sad! Made me mistrust the healthcare system.

I have been a patient here at elevate care for several months now. I have never been in a facility like this before so I have nothing to compare from just my own personal experience here.nnThere was a young man who greeted me who was the concierge when I came here named *Rodrigo.* He was amazing, so kind, so helpful, so in tuned to knowing what you need and helping you in any way that he possibly can. He always checked in with you and followed up to see if there was anything you need or if you got something you had requested. I can't begin to tell you how many times he helped me in my 1st weeks of being here, too many to count. Very professional young man I was very impressed when I 1st met himnnI also like to give a big high 5 to my nurse *Lizbeth,* who couldn't be sweeter or more helpful she's very conscientious she pays attention to your needs, she follows through on any phone calls that need to be made concerning your doctor's appointment, or having a prescription filled and she always comes back and updates you and lets you know the status. She is worth her weight in gold!nnI would also like to give a shout out to one of my CNA's from the afternoon shift, *Jose.*nHe too is worth his weight in gold. He's extremely hard working and he's very kind and conscientious. He always makes sure you have everything you need when you need it, and if you don't he tries to find out why and if he can make it happen. He always makes sure to check on you before he goes off shift to see if you need anything whether it be ice, a box of Kleenex, a fresh sheet, clean gowns, a towel *anything* you might need before he leaves for the for the evening. I truly miss him on the 2 days that he's not working.nnAnd then there's my little *Sylvia* from housekeeping. She is so sweet and does such a good job cleaning your room for you. Making sure your floors are spotless and everything is as it should be in your room.nnYou can always tell when Sylvia is the person from housekeeping that did your room that day. I recently found out she just celebrated her ~30th anniversary~ working here and even before it was Elevate. She really deserves a BIG- fat-bonu$ for loyalty and being here as long as she has, and working as hard as she does for 30 years!
