I went to this library to review with a friend who was going there to study for almost a month. Two receptionist were staring at me so since it was private library I asked permission if I could review with a friend (who btw was coming there for a month and he told them he was a Christian and they were nice/welcoming to him) and they were like we are not sure and would ask someone if they can allow me but don’t see why not. Less than ten minutes, elderly lady walked in to the study room that we were in and asked us to leave because “the students from the seminar would like to use the study room for coming exams” then my friend asked if we could use the lobby (except the room we were in and room next to us, literally the whole library was empty). She said sorry but no and I want you two to leave and not to come back to the library again. My friend was very surprised as how nice that lady and everyone in the library were to him every single day and how completely shut off and short she were with us at that time. As she was walking us out of the building, we realized the very reason. I was wearing SCARF! It’s really sad that religion bigotry is still in large in our country!
