Rick james made a song about this place. This is the ghetto, but a beautiful area really. Lots of art and old buildings.
A part of St. Louis History !
Did not know this was there until I was looking at a special on the internet. The one just a couple of blocks away on Grand gets all the attention. But going to see this one isn't for the faint of heart as the old hospital a block up is abandoned and creepy looking.
Nice landmark. The neighborhood could benefit from some renewal.
