The St. Louis Wheel

I recommend going if you’re in town even if you don’t ride it, just seeing it all lit up is pretty cool and it really stands out. I don’t regret riding it, it wasn’t anything spectacular compared to other Ferris wheels I’ve been on.nnA huge plus is the pods are temperature controlled which was awesome.nnWe did the date night package so my wife and I got to ride, each get a drink, and we got two photos for $40. Honestly I think the pictures were my favorite part. They have tons of backgrounds for your photos to select from. You could pay extra to get digital files but we will just scan the pictures to our computer at home. The souvenir photo is one of my favorite things we brought home with us.nnIf you have kids this place is amazing. They’ve got mini golf, a carousel, and a mini park right next to it. They also have a koi pond there too. I think it was better to walk around and see the Ferris wheel than to ride it. The view from the top isn’t bad, it’s just not jaw dropping.

It was not long enough! You spend most of the time waiting for people to load!

I loved this experience! I was nervous at first but after being on for a few minutes I was relaxed! The gondolas are climate controlled, have handles on the ceiling, music playing. They spray the seats down with disinfectant between riders. The view is beautiful! My daughter and I got the date night package. We got two tickets, 2 souvenir pictures and two drinks. We'll worth the $40! I highly recommend this while in STL!

There was no line when we visited, the wheel compartment was clean, and service was ok.nnIt’s a fifteen minute ride- no bumps, etc you just go in circles.nnIt’s nice to have the option in town, and they’ve cleaned up the area and renovated nicely.nnThat being said- any kid (mine are 4 & 6) who has been on an airplane, roller coaster or idk even a glass elevator is not going to have fun here. It’s not worth the money- unless you have a Ferris wheel fanatic in the family.nnYou get a better view driving in on 64 from Illinois.nAnd like I said the excitement is elevator level.

The wheel was cool. On this Sunday, the whole experience took 1.5 hrs. It was nice seeing the skyline
