St Louis Airport Taxi

March 27, 2021, arrived home at 3:10. St. Louis Airport Taxi #59. Driver ran through stop signs, failed to signal some turns, drove 85 and 90 mph on 270 and 45 on residential streets in Kirkwood. Unacceptable.

I recently flew to STL in direction to Ft. Leonard wood for my huabands Military Graduation. I called this taxi company a few days prior planning ahead and they gave me a price of $225 plus tip. Which was the most affordable I found. I also requested a carseat and booster seat since I was traveling w my 3 month old baby and 5 year old they said yes no problem we have carseats. When i got to the airport they took around 30 mins to pick me up refused to provide me with the carseats they said taxis dont need them. I was extremely worried because its 2.5 hour drive. It was 2 am with a newborn baby and a very tired 5 year old. I had no option. The taxi was very dirty the driver drove super fast and switched lanes dangerously. He was using his phone the whole time texting and calls. No bluetooth headset. Finally when we got to base and its time to pay the $225 he says per person!!! What it was 3 of us and no way I had that amount. He ended up leaving it at $320 because I refused to pay since i was not told it was per person I was never told when i called. I felt he tried to rob me. Please be careful with this company. Its no way to treat a military family who traveled 20 hours to see our soldier. My son missed him so much and i made a huge effort traveling alone w a newborn so my son could see dad and to support my husband. Please have some heart for your clients!
