What a great place to learn about Alton and its history. The piasa bird has remain a legend for many years. There has been several different paintings on the bluffs. The museum also offers a short clip of Robert wadlow and history of the river town. Definitely worth the trip.
Amazing learning experience with a great host/tour guide who has fantastic wry humor and is very passionate about history!
Guided tour was very informative. Tour guide was helpful, patient and friendly.
