Excellent small town library with a well developed collection.
The library is next to Post Office. 1500 square feet, but lots of current books and movies. It's on the corner of Skillet Avenue and 1st Street NW. New books and movies weekly. Summer reading program for 8 weeks every summer. Wifi and public access computers. Magazines. DVDs.
This is the tiniest library I have ever been to. (Think of that expression about swinging a cat.) The staff is very friendly and know the name of all the patrons that visit. Thankfully the library is part of Chemeketa library system so you can order a book that your can't see on the shelf. The library is easy to miss, so look for it by the fire department.
