I called today regarding my road getting muddy. They sent a maintainer to start servicing the road that afternoon. I call that good public service and a fine example of our tax dollars at work!

Once again, county is failing to maintain our road. We pay high taxes what do we have to show for it . Vehicles get tore upnYou need 4 wheel drive to get through my road. Plus the county uses my road NEVADS ST , to haul there Gravel trucks period between R57 in R63 on Nevada street is a Living nightmare to drive-through my suggestion to anybody wanting to move to Warren County don't cause you will get screwed on your taxes in your roads will be horrible

I live off Briggs. The county has failed to maintain the roads, therefore they have failed the homeowners. We pay taxes to have our roads maintained. We have now been told that the bus transportation cannot come down the roads to pick up children. I pay taxes to have the school bus come down the road and pick up children. Where has my tax money gone? It is not the homeowners problem that the county does not have the budget to maintain properly. The county needs to figure that out for themselves. We are proud of the homes we live in, however we are not proud of what the roads have become. They are not safe. If an ambulance or a firetruck had to come down the roads in a hurry, I'm afraid they would not be able to make the call, or they would blow a tire in the potholes/washboard ridiculousness! Not to mention the money that goes into maintenance on our personal vehicles. Can I start sending the bills to you for the car alignments that have to take place because of the road conditions? Warren county needs to take a serious note! We have been told the roads were not built to maintain the 70+ homes that are now out here, but it sure didn't stop Warren Co from handing out building permits. We have faith that our tax money paid is going to the appropriate channels. Figure it out. I want someone in authority to explain to all of us that live out here where our tax money has gone to maintain the roads we live on. It is our right. It is also our right to be safe. Warren county, you have failed those who live out here.

Our roads are a shame to our county supervisors and engineer. We the residents are told the roads were not built correctly. Then I ask, when was this discovered and what steps were taken to correct the problems. I understand we have 2 road superintendents. I would think at least part of their job is to examine the roads and report on them. Proper roads is a main reason we have an engineering department in the first place. Gravel on the road would be especially helpful!

The gravel roads throughout the county are terrible! They are not maintained properly. When there is an issue, the issue is not properly repaired. It is a bandaid fix that quickly fails causing the issue to come back. This leads to more and more soft spots in the road and decreased overall road conditions. The roads are a real safety concern due to their condition. Additionally, the lack of gravel leads to many of these roads being nearly level B quality. Buses can’t travel them when they are wet and garbage trucks are banned due to their weight.
