Everyone here is great. They make sure you feel comfortable during the whole process, everyone is super friendly, and any questions I had were answered right away.nnEdit: I should mention I had a root canal and crown done here. I had no pain, other than the initial dull pain after the numbing wore off (which is kind of expected with this sort of procedure).
Both of my parents have now gone to this office for root canals and have both left with lingering pain. My mother had the procedure done and the pain lasted for months traveling into her jaw, until they finally just removed the tooth. The pain continued for over a year and lead to complications of anxiety because the pain was so horrible! Recently my dad went in for the same procedure and is having the same lasting pain traveling into his jaw. My parents have been long time patients of this office under the previous doctor and that doctor never performed root canals because he realized it was well beyond his scope of practice! If you are needing a root canal please find an endodontist. Do your research before having any oral surgery in this office. The letters DDS don’t mean these doctors have the experience. They maybe do 1-2 root canals a week versus an endodontist that performs 25 plus every week. I’m sure these doctors are amazing dentists!!! Just not oral surgeons!
Deathly scared of dentists and ortho surgeons. Summit is awesome. How they put up with me is amazing. They have the tech but more importantly they have the people. The people are great. Still scared of dentists but not so much now with Summit. These people made my life better today (and I'm not exaggerating.)
Every experience I have had at Summit Family Dental has been friendly, positive and thorough. They have offered and followed through with several opportunities for me and my family. These opportunities include, but are not limited to, swapping out old fillings for new that actually blend with my teeth, fluoride treatments in different flavors, polish in different flavors and teeth whitening trays.
The entire experience from start to finish was pleasant, seamless and painless. They worked exceptionally well with my insurance company and providing me a clear understanding of my coverage and my out of pocket expenses ... leaving no room for any surprises. Thank you Dr. Millard!
