I'm very disappointed & highly upset because my daughter's information was released to someone without my permission. I called to make a complaint about but they really like they're NOT concern. I just pray ud83dude4fud83cudffdud83dude4fud83cudffdud83dude4fud83cudffdud83dude4fud83cudffd that I don't have to deal with this anymore ud83dude1eud83dude21ud83eudd2c

This facility is absolutely inadequately designed to care for elderly patients who are in need of proper diagnosis and care of Dementia. It’s technically an acute rehab facility for 7 days or less of care (not the facility for an inpatient evaluation and proper diagnosis of dementia or to begin a medication regimen if needed). As a concerned family member, no clear updates were provided in regards to when the medical diagnosis was established/changed. Calling the facility to get an update (when a staff member will actually answer the phone) only to be talked to disrespectfully is an understatement. And yes, a social worker should automatically know when you say “POA” that it stands for “Power of Attorney”. It’s bad when your elderly family member is sent from their facility 0.3 miles to the ER for acute illness that occurred in their care and CrossBridge has the nerve to call you to tell you that you need to drive 2 hours one way just to take the patient’s dentures across the road because they failed to send them on transport. Needless to say the experience has been subpar. As a medical professional, I care not only for my patients but also for their families. Illness is already an inconvenience but this facility adds more stress and inconvenience to the family than is actually necessary.

If I could give them no stars that would be my rate. These people are heartless, careless, rude, and disrespectful. My husband was unwillingly transferred and held at this poor facility. The workers are terrible they talked to me like I was nothing and also the security guard stated that he doesn't care about nobody else in the facility because it's not him or his family I have never in my life seen a staff in a place where your loved ones need care and compassion like the staff at crossbridge they treated my husband like he was a prisoner if you care about whoever you have in that place or want to send here this is not the right place please don't put yourself or your loved ones in this facility.

I was recently held at this facility for the purpose of bettering my mental health. Myself as well as the other patients there were not treated well. After I was evaluated by the doctor (Dr. Gibson) I told him I did not feel mentally stable enough to leave and he disregarded my concerns stating that he is the doctor who’s knows better about my mental health than I do. He basically kicked me out with my mental problems worse than before.

If you care about your loved one’s mental health and sanity, do not send them or have East Baptist send them to this facility. Crossbridge is a glorified day care where adults are stripped of basic human rights and all dignity. The nurses are incompetent. The social workers will ignore family members phone calls. They are disenfranchised and ill equipped to transfer care to a different facility. The experience is THE WORST. Crossbridge has the most ineffective staff of health care workers in Montgomery, possibly the state. Personal safety does not exist in this place. Fights are frequent between patients. Security it not present when needed. During my captivity, a staff member was taken hostage for over ten minutes before other staff members even noticed she was missing. I have a suggestion, burn it to the ground and start over.
