Overall the vibe was incredible. I walked in feeling confident I would buy my vehicle and the environment confirmed it. The customer satisfaction confirmed it too as I loved watching the employees move urgently as I do when I work. My car was shipped and maintained before I drove off the lot which was great! And the gentleman that assisted me was superb! (Marcus at CarMax Montgomery) I strongly recommend anyone wanting to experience a different feel of car shopping to shop with CarMax!

It started off an great experience not a long wait, and when he was helping me it seem like i was doing it myself. We sat there bout 2 hours until i found what i want so i did and everything went through just fine. The man who was assisting me told me I can leave sense I was their so long and he's gonna call me in about an hour or two to get my card info so I waited and waited still no call from Mike. Then Monday came still no call so I called him and he said man I forgotten about you I'm so so sorry an he looked it up and someone's else got the truck I picked out just sad and waist of my time!!!

It was literally the easiest experience I have ever had buying a car. I was able to do most of the work on my own at home, then a 15 minute phone call, then went and picked the car up. No hassle, no haggle. And a great little car! Thanks you guys :)

The team at CarMax in Montgomery, Ala., helped provide a very positive car-buying experience. First off, they were very conscientious about masking, sanitizing, and social distancing. I appreciated that. They also were friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the vehicles and the buying and selling process. They provided me with my options without pressuring me into things I didn't want or need. I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Very poor communication and customer service. I was working with Mike, we decided on a vehicle , got approval and everything. The vehicle was coming for another location, so maybe 4 days later I called to get an update on the transfer, spoke with Mike and turns out someone purchased the vehicle I was supposed to be purchasing. Mike told me they wasn’t informed of this information and had I not called for an update I wouldn’t have known. Not once did he apologize for this inconvenience. I spoke with the manager Evan , he was super nice. He informed me he never seen where a transfer was initiated but he would be able to waive $100 of a transfer fee on the transfer fee if I decided on something outside of the area, Mike told me he’d give me a call around 3pm to find another vehicle, never received a call. I emailed him, never gotten a reply. So I went back to the dealership, he avoided me the entire time. I waited in the lobby for 30 mins , not once did he acknowledge me but assisted every person after me. Communication goes a long way!
