The food is always excellent at this location. We love the Wild West Shrimp Appetizer and steak of course. Cannot go wrong here. A little wait but that is because it is very popular. They text when your table is ready so wait in your vehicle or outside. Definitely recommend!
Longhorn Montgomery has always been exceptional. The food is delivered hot and seasoned well. My steak is always prepared at my desired temperature. I haven't been back to Outback, since trying this Longhorn.
We were seated for lunch with no wait. Between the three of us in our party, we had chicken, steak and salmon. The food and service were great and the bill was reasonable. But neither coffee or tea were available, the server saying that the machine had been broken for some time. So it's impossible to give 5 stars to a restaurant that is unable to come up with the hot water needed for a cup of coffee or tea.
I waited on the phone for over 10 minutes for someone to pick up to take my order. It's a Tuesday. My husband made it to Longhorn and they still never picked up the phone. I told him to let me speak to the manager. All he offered was a simple apology and said the order will be ready in 25 minutes. We'll, it's been over 25 minutes and it still isn't ready. I love Longhorn but I am tired of the way these restaurants do people. Plus, the carpet stinks in there. I think I will start supporting local restaurants.
Our waiter was great. He took his time to explain any questions we had about what wanted to order. Food was fast and served hot.
