Just happened to be in the area and ran across this soulful place. The whole family enjoyed the take-out meal. We definitely will be returning for more delicious meals. :)

Delicious comfort food that hits just right on a rainy day
3-4 years later and the taste is still the same. The elderly couple reminds you of family and friends gathering around with comfort food. My dishes remain the same. Hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and gravy with macaroni. However, I wait for my husband to get other dishes and just combine them. Lol. Tiny space that will remind you of home.
They always have a great variety of food. Today they were serving, among other things, chicken and dumplings and boiled okra. ( my mamma never made it that good). They’re open for lunch and maybe dinner. Better call. Their lunches are always fabulous. It’s on Culver Road in West Tuscaloosa near the Goodrich plant. I guarantee that you will love your lunch.
