We came for Sunday Brunch and I didn’t love the chicken and waffles but I didn’t hate them either. The chicken was spicy, and was served with apple butter syrup, whipped cream and powdered sugar. It was made with quality ingredients and was fresh and I probably would have liked the various components individually but combined the flavors seemed not to compliment each other - your mileage may vary. My wife ordered the bananas foster and she loved it saying it was the best restaurant meal she had in a long time. My kids each ordered the donuts but a short while later we were informed that the kitchen only had enough batter left for one order. We subsequently ordered some biscuits to replace the donut order and while it was disappointing to not be able to order what you want off a pretty limited menu the children said both donuts and biscuits were excellent. We had a discussion about everyone at the table getting to taste the donuts but somehow they were consumed by the kids before the adults got to try so I’ll have to assume the children’s assessment that they were excellent is accurate.nnThe biscuits were buttery, fluffy and salty and with a crispy exterior that just worked. All agreed they were very good. When we asked for some butter for the biscuits it was served melted in a ramekin which was odd but also oddly worked well with the biscuits.nnFor some reason unknown to me the restaurant decided to close an hour early and turned away numerous disappointed parties.nnThe service was pretty good. We got the feeling our waitress was new as she had to check on a lot of things she should know but she was attentive, pleasant, polite and professional and put forth good effort. If I were hiring, I’d definitely pick her up because she will be a top notch performer in short order.nnLastly, we were able to sit outside with our well behaved dog which is much appreciated.nnBottom line, we would recommend this place and will be back.
My wife and I came here for dinner, I ordered the pork chop with the french fries and the asparagus and I’ve eaten in restaurants all over the world and I’m sorry but this is one of the most fantastic meals I’ve ever had.nnI give this meal at 10 across-the-board.nnThe pork chop was the most tender and most flavorful pork chop I’ve ever had.nnAsparagus were fantastic, and the franchise are out of this world.nnIf you’re in this area you don’t eat here you will be sorry.
This place is fantastic. Everything we ordered was delicious. Very tasty cocktails. Great service. Highly recommended.
They were out of my partner's first 2 lunch choices, so that was kind of frustrating. My fish and chips was ok, the fish was perfect but the fries were cold and soggy. My partner's fries were also cold. They did send out a plate of fresh fries though, so that was appreciated. Our waitress was kind and attentive, but we didn't enjoy the overall feel of the place. I would recommend to some people, but doesn't feel comfortable to everyone.
The service was wonderful. We were promptly greeted and seated. I had a bbq chicken over potatoes and a side of Brussels sprouts. The food was a little bland. The sprouts were served grilled in a small separate bowl. The sprouts were cold and dry. The chicken was very small but it was moist. The cost was around $50. My wife and I were looking for a new favorite restaurant. This is not it. All in all it’s just okay.
