1 star is too much to give The Raven. Greens are 80% burnt, ball bounces everywhere. Scheduled two tee times several weeks in advanced drove over 5 hours and no carts available. Couldn't golf. Very disappointing and frustrating. Don't waste your time going here. Go to Canaan Valley, Stonewall, or the Pete Dye course. Much better service and much better golf course.
Very well designed PGA style course. Extremely good times and food.
Course is in poor shape (tee boxes, fairways and greens) compared to previous years. The rough was in excellent condition. Great service and not busy for a Wed. afternoon. Cart path only for entire round because of wet conditions.
Aug. 20,2020 Great views,but course is in sub-par condition. Greens are half dead as r Fairways . Covid is trying to kill this course. Was Irrigation Water pump was broken and guess no money to fix it.? Staff is helpful and friendly.
This Gary Player designed course is a difficult course for ave. players. Those with low HC will still find the blind holes and tight FWs a challenge. This mountain course is a fantastic way to get gorgeous views and wildlife sightings. The greens were in horrid condition due to bad decisions and bad luck but should rebound. If you're high HC better bring many balls. The rough is horrendous should you miss the FW badly. You will not find them should they land there. Accuracy is essential on this course. Give it a go should you feel ready....
