We were excited for Cheat Mountain Pizza! We planned to have some pizza and beer after our last run. When we walked in we saw the seats and tables put to the side and were told they were carry out only due to covid. We understood and went elsewhere with the intent to order carry out later. Later that evening we checked out the menu online and decided on what we wanted. Pulled up the website, called the number, no answer. Repeated this for 1.5 hours. Nothing! I can't write a review on their food because we weren't able to order it. Very upset! All of the Snowshoe operated dining options were a disappointment to be honest. Overpriced frozen foods, low quality meat and untrained staff that just ride out the clock. Reserve a condo or anything with a full kitchen and cook your own food! There isn't anywhere to spend your money if you like food.
We did have a very long wait for a table on a Monday night, but it was worth the wait! Delicious pizza! Great service too.
1 hour wait turned into 1:45. Service was poor and took another 1:30 to get food. Gluten Free pizza came out burnt and had to be sent back. Came out burnt again. Chicken topping was very bad and didn't eat. Expensive and poor food/service. No apologies, no taking anything off the bill, not a word/action to make me feel better as a customer. Will not be coming here again. Pick another restaurant.
Staff was so friendly. We walked in after a 9 hour drive, but the kitchen was already closed. The manager on duty whipped up some salads for us, thank you so much!
One of the best pizza crusts I've ever had, easily! Top it off with great service and a great atmosphere.... its a win-win for sure!
