In spite of COVID, minimal snow, and rain we had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast sandwiches were DELICIOUS. And we appreciated being able to rent snowshoes and a few items we forgot from the shop at the inn.

We took our 3 boys are 15, 13, and 9 on a week of biking. We loved staying in the Bellvue cabin. It is a bit down the road, but so peaceful. We loved the cabin and the hot tub. The River was beautiful and the bike trails were great too!
This is a great place to stay in the area and a good jumping off point to explore the area from. There are walking trails and a creek accessible from the property and you can access the Gauley Mountain base trails trailhead for mountain biking a couple miles down the road. We stayed in a cabin which was large and had everything we needed.
We had a great experience at Elk River. Beautiful property. We were outfitted with mountain bikes and a bike rack, and given really good guidance on going to the right places to have a good time. I’m looking forward to coming back soon.
