I used to visit my grandparents who lived a stone's throw from the church the last name was Connock. This was back in the late 50s early sixties. I loved that little church! I have very fond memories of the people that I met. It broke my heart when my grandparents moved to Ohio.

This is a lovely old church with 2 sections to the cemetery behind it. My dad & great-grandparents, as well as some other family members are buried there. My godchildren grew up attending this church. Although I am not, nor have I ever been a member of this church, I have attended services there several times throughout my life. The congregation is warm & welcoming. My god-daughters always enjoyed Sunday School, Bible Study & Awana. The church has easy access from US Route 60 & is only about 2 miles or so from I-64 @ the Huntington Mall so it is near to several hotels in case anyone staying at any of the hotels near the Huntington Mall in Barboursville, WV, are looking for a lovely congregation & a fulfilling sermon while in the area. I'm quite certain this church would happily become your Home Away From Home Church for as long as you're in the area❤ufe0f
