Turkey is a neat little town.
Drove through Turkey on our way to Caprock Park. Stopped to check it out. A really neat monument that shares the history of Bob Wills. Well maintained and clean
Came through while visiting Caprock state park to watch the fireworks! Was able to enjoy a burger from the VFD fundraiser, and a lady was nice enough to share some of the towns history with us while we were eating. Before visiting this area, read up on Quanah Parker & see where all the “arrows” are placed so you can be sure to visit the ones that are along your journey! Enjoyed our short visit there!
Fire Works the weekend before the 4th of July. Hamburgers & Hot Dogs with live music.
Turkey, Texas is big fun.
